VICTORIA FALLS RESOURCES TO BE SHARED BY ZIMBABWE AND ZAMBIA

Zimbabwe and Zambia have embarked on a project to promote and share tourism
resources generated by the Victoria falls. This move is intended to attract more
tourists to both sides of the Victoria falls. However, all SADC countries in the
vicinity will benefit from the project. Previously, the two countries competed for tourists in the area, and now they will work together
for the benefit of both.

In the same breath, Livingstone which is Zambia's tourist capital, is being upgraded
to handle the envisaged increase in
the number of tourists. Its airport is to attain international status.
